Medication

For students who require medication during school hours, no medication - including prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications - will be administered to students unless there is a Physician and Parent/Guardian medication authorization form completed. (Download below.) This policy also applies to inhalers for asthma and epi-pens for allergies. (Download as needed, below.) Completed forms, along with the prescribed medication in a prescription-labeled package or OTC medication in its original OTC container, should be brought to the Health Office at the beginning of each school year. Note: Any student participating in sports who requires an asthma inhaler or epi-pen will not be cleared until the forms are handed in.
